hello there! first of all, thanks so much helen! =) anyway, i just got back from 2 camps. so sorry if i was too busy to contribute much to earlier gatherings or discussions etc. anyway, how have all you guys been? according to ryan, i just missed 1 week of fun. hahaha, hope to see everyone soon! guess that as time goes on, each and everyone will just get busier and busier. and soon enough, school will reopen and it's madness again. just wanna thank all of you out there for making 14 days of my hols so enjoyable =) man this sounds so cliched. but OH WELL. i'll be back here soon! enjoy your hols everyone!

hey everyone
after returning from yet another trip to china, it's nice to see the online movement of heartworks so active! especially that of the 38-bridge club.
i dont know how many people actually read this thing but thanks helen for getting this beautiful grey up and putting a smile on my face =)
anyhow i didn't get a chance to say this before but id like to thank everyone from heartworks for a really memorable experience. i know this is a little late, i mean it's already dec 3 and we returned on nov 20, but better late than never.
i never knew 14 days could be so long, as in like reeeeally loooong.
but after this, i now also know how impactful 14 days can be.
i learnt so many things i cant even list them all and built up bonds with such amazing different individuals, i cant think of a better way to have kicked off my eoy holidays for 2004.
i dont know if little community of 26 is gonna go on keeping in touch in time to come, i hope it does, but anyhow it's been really great and it's definitely gonna follow me for a long time. so thanks for the memories, the trip was fun!

Wet Blanket (sponge & hair dryer included)
Hi, I believe Jia Hao's suggestion of a get together party/chalet is splendid & groovy. However, I am afraid that at that period of time majority of the people will have to go to church or have family reunions. So one or two weeks before Christmas would be most suitable.
I agree with You Xin that the layout of the page is indeed depressing, but I presume the content is more important. Maybe some music would be good.
Just out of curiosity, what's the purpose of the blog when we already have a better facilitated msn group? I am not being cynical but rather, pragmatic. But then again, some people may like to keep stuff away from the teachers' prying eyes. But then again, Erik can just boot them out or just you msn.
Nevertheless, I appreciate the effort and the initiative Helen took to set up this blog. But sadly, like the msn group, I fear that this portal for communication would become obsolete. But until that day comes, HAPPY BLOGGING & MERRY 'be-early' CHRISTMAS.
But seriously, I have never gone for a group ‘outing’ of any kind and come back to maintain a circle of, hopefully, friends, which are so enthu. So I am pretty impressed.
The trip was fun.
~ Guess Who ? ^*^ Still don’t noe ? hmmm Indian spark off anything?
* I have tried to be optimistic.

the template looks a bit depressing tho. lol.
the thing is, I won't forget heartworks and the days we spent together in Hainan!

woot~
whooppeee. thanks helen for creating this. (: fun stuff...
so yep, helen's having a hangover. LIKE ME!! and erm. i'm seriously zonked out... just a week in sg, and i feel totally punctured already. 2 weeks in hainan got me even more enthu than anything...
the life in hainan was...
*simple. we had things to do everyday. i'm bored here!
*fulfilling. we made new friends everyday. there's no one at home!
*exciting. i tried new stuff. (think chicken balls) how exciting can home be?
*lame. 'nuff said. no zy around. no lamers.
*happy. i enjoyed u guys' company. so much. i'm sad here... bad memories.
*carefree. we did not have real curfews and rules. i'm usually home by 10!(rotting)
*pressure-free. council work's just killing me now.
basically, it was pretty much like the layout suggests: let go.
We let go of life in singapore and went to experience something fresh and new for us. It really rocked. I REALLY MISS THE HAMMOCKS. and the weather. bahh.
p.s. SHOPPING WAS FUN TOO! (nv had that much money to spend. hah.)
my next post would be my few comments for everyone else here, aye? ;)
